Meet The Monkeys - Mango - Helping Hands - monkey snuggling with staff

Help care for our sweet monkeys!

They have cared for so many people living with physical disabilities as service animals and constant companions.

Some are still paired with recipients and others are in their post-service years living at our Monkey Living Center and in special care homes. Please support them so they can lead happy and healthy lives!

When you symbolically adopt a monkey, you are supporting housing, food, vet care, toys, healthy treats, and snuggly blankets for our capuchins.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Make a one-time gift of $120 or $12 per month and we will send you exclusive footage of our monkeys at play on a quarterly basis.
  • Make a one-time gift of $500 or $42 per month and in addition to the exclusive footage of our monkeys, we will also send you our Annual Calendar with beautiful monthly photos of our monkeys.
  • Make a gift of $1,000 and you will be invited to join an animal care staff and monkey in a virtual meeting (due to COVID-19 restrictions we currently are not having face-to-face meetings). We will also make sure to send you exclusive monkey footage and a calendar.

About Us

Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers, now Envisioning Access, was founded in 1979 to raise and train capuchin monkeys to provide daily in-home assistance to people living with spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, and other debilitating injuries and illnesses while also providing a deep bond and love between the individual and the little capuchin.
